Hi all,
I am struggling with something in PowerPages... Really struggling!!
Just to give you some context, prior to this project, my knowledge of Microsoft products extended to pretty much excel, work and outlook. I have spent the last 6 months teaching myself how to use PowerAutomate, PowerApps and now PowerPages, for the simple reason that I absolutely love how powerful they are! I have been able to build a (almost) complete Customer Portal for the business I work for, from scratch, with help from the posts on here, as well as YouTube and other Google searches! So I'm really proud of what I have been able to achieve on this platform!
So now I need some help with viewing documents from a SharePoint library and I hope someone can help...
Lets start from the beginning.... I have a table called "Work In Progress" which holds Case Data pulled from an external source. I have the "Accounts" table setup and the "Work In Progress" table has an "Account Lookup" to reference the account. I also have the "Contacts" table setup. I have the relationships setup so that, hypothetically, Dave from Company A has access to all of the lines in the "Work In Progress" where the "Account Lookup" cell on those lines is set to "Company A". This means my customers can log on and see their case data, which is great, however, I wanted more...
So in the List settings on the PowerPage designer, I clicked on "Actions", then checked the box for "View Details" and we are now able to see a bit more when the custom made form opens. I then enable the SharePoint integration, did all of the document management settings for SharePoint and added a subgrid to the form with "Documents (Regarding)" as the table and checked the box for "Show Related Records". The issue that I have is, when I sync and re-open the page, then open one of the records, it displays a message that says "You do not have permission to view these records", which is odd, as I am signed into the Portal with my AD and the SharePoint site is logged in with the same AD, so I'm now confused.
I have even tried changing the permissions on the "Sharepoint Documents" table, and setting up relationships between the Account and the SP Docs table, but everytime I set a permission I get a different error that says "Internal Server Error". With the SP Docs table permissions, I have tried Account & Global permissions, neither work.
The worst part is, I started this as a model driven app in make.powerapps.com and it works a treat! I can add documents, it saves it onto the SharePoint, I can use PowerAutomate to add documents into the correct folder, so it works great! I just need to get it working on the PowerPage!
Basically, what I want is for Dave from Company A to login, go to Work In Progress and see all lines relating to Company A, then click on one of the lines and see all of the attachments relating to that line.
Any ideas!?
