Every week we have to send the executive team a weekly report of the work we do.
The template has certain sections that we need to fill in. What I am trying to do is every week, it creates a one note page saying Week of August 21 , 2023 (for example). The template will be copied with a new title page. I then want to export the query results of a Azure Devops query that shows all work completed in last week.
I need the results of that query to be appended to the end of the page since that section is the last section, but I also have a section of the template that has a count of bugs, work items, etc so I need to be able to create a query in ADO that can count how many bugs and then that count goes to the template in the spot it needs to go.
I was able to get a page to change to Week of Date, but it only copied the original template. Now when I tried to add the results of the query, I did get it to append to the one note page one time, but then the page was untitled.. Then I did some change and now each work item from the query created a new page with that one user story title added. so if i had 35 items closed, then 35 pages would be created.
Basically, I want to create a template every week with week of DATE and then all query results of all items closed within last week will append to the end in the Operations section which is the last section, BUT then there are some sections at the top that has a count of bugs, work items closed so I need to make sure the count is transferred to the page but in the exact spot where it needs to be.
