Can't add a workFlowor Action Step to a business process flow in any Model-Driven App

What I have done:

1. Switch to Model-Driven

2. Create Entity

3. Create App (Model-Driven) which can do a CRUD operation on the entity.

4. add a "Business Process Flow" with a few stage / Condition / "Data action"

what I can't do :

* I need to add "Action Step" and WorkFLow to the "Business Process Flow".

More specific:

1. Action Step: when I add an action step, I click on the new for "execute process" and I build something but it doesn't appear there.

2. WorkFlow: when I add WorkFlow, I click on the new for "Workflows" field and I build something but it doesn't appear there.

    Hi @Anonymous,

I think the process didn't show up should be related to the "something " you have built.

There is an example sharing about how to build the Business process Flow, hope that could be helpful:

Create or Edit a Business Process Flow

    Additional note:

    "

    Important

    • To be able to execute an action or workflow on demand, the business process flow must include an Action Step. If the Action Step runs a workflow, the workflow must be configured to run on demand.
    • The entity associated with the action or workflow must be the same as the entity associated with the business process flow.

Limitation of using Action Steps in a business process flow

    • Actions are not available as Action Steps if the input or output parameters are Entity, EntityCollection, or OptionSet (Picklist) types. Actions with more than one EntityReference output parameter or any number of EntityReference input parameters are not available as Action Steps. Actions not associated with a primary entity (global action) are not available as Action Steps.

    "

    Regards,

    Michael
