Completed task in ToDoist ---> completed task in Planner

Hi y'all,

I'm new with building flows, so please bear with me! (Also, my first post here, so hello!)  πŸ™‚
I'd like to automatically complete a task in Planner once I mark it as completed in ToDoist. Is there any way to do this? I've tried, but I can't seem to figure it out. "Complete task" doesn't come up as an action for Planner when I try building the flow.

Also - any other suggestions for cool flows to make working in Microsoft Teams - Planner - Outlook - Todoist the best it can be is very appreciated!

Thanks for your help!

    Hi @v-litu-msft

Thank you for this! However, this isn't working with Todoist. I cannot use Microsoft To-Do at my workplace, so I've subscribed to Todoist Premium (www.todoist.com) instead. They have an integration with Microsoft Teams, but it isn't approved where I work.

I've successfully installed flows so that tasks assigned to me, or tasks created in Planner (Microsoft teams), shows up in my Todoist, which I have in Momentum and also my Outlook. Tasks created in Todoist shows up in Planner. BUT I haven't found a way to autocomplete tasks in Planner when I mark them as complete in Todoist, or autocomplete tasks in Todoist when I mark them as complete in Planner.

    Any suggestions?

Crossing my fingers that anyone reading this has a solution! πŸ™‚

    Hi @Gudrunch,

According to your requirement, I create the following Flow:

When a Microsoft To-Do update, determine the status whether equals to "completed".

    • If it is, List all tasks in the Planner.
    • Then use the Filter query to find the same task according to the task title (If you create the same title in planner task)
    • Then use the ID of the return of Filter query to update the task.
