undefinedAre there any alternative data source options for the Power page, besides Dataverse?

Could you please assist me with the following questions? 

  1. Are there any alternative data source options for the Power page, besides Dataverse?

  2. If I am considering creating a virtual table from an SQL table, can I perform all CRUD operations on it? Additionally, how are permissions or access for external users managed with respect to these tables?

    Hi @Hailuz ,

     

    In my personal opinions, there's no point using Power Pages if your data source is not Dataverse, however, i believe you can set up Virtual Entities in CRM and put on the portal. Here is the blog by @nhayduk

    Hi @Hailuz ,

    Power Pages are built on top of the Dataverse so there is no alternative options. Please check this official documentation on how Power Pages work with virtual tables - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/configure/virtual-tables. But in short - if you are using supported providers you can use CRUD and virtual tables support table permissions.
