How to modify forms in popups

Hello community,

how can I modify a entity form in a popup?

I have an entity with a subgrid with data from related entity.
In subgrid is a create button to create related entry. By clicking this buttton always opens a popup with entity form.

But how to add a button into this popup form?

I know how to add a button into webpage, but in such popups?

Here is a picture of my situation:

Yellow in the background left: Main entity.
Blue in background left the subgrid of related entity records.
Violett in background right the clicked create-button.
Finally orange the place of new button in popup.

Thanks,

AndKan.

    Hi @AndKanPA,

Popup is showing you an entity form in the iframe, so you don't have that many possibilities to modify it - you can use the Custom JavaScript field on the Entity form to add your js code and use that to add the button.

of course this works ... I forgot ...

    Thank you.

Which page template is behind or in use in iframe?

    Best regards,

    Andreas.

    Hi @AndKanPA ,

There is no web template that we can modify for this popup, you can only modify entity form that is used for it. To identify which form is used (or to change it) open Entity Form Metadata of the form where you get the subgrid. Then find/create Entity Form Metadata record for the subgrid. Then there in the Grid configuration settings, you will see Create option which let you select Entity Form.
