Copy file from OneDrive for Business to File System

Hi

I have an automated  flow that will copy files from my one drive for business to my own file system. I have an on-premise gateway setup so the copy will work. The flow works file the first time it runs. The problem is that the files I wish to copy will always have the same name.  When I put the same file name into the one drive for business folder it does not pick it up after the first run.  If I use a new file name it will run.  How can I set the flow to copy the files every time the One drive for business folder receives a new file regardless of the name.

My flow has 2 steps

Step 1 - One Drive for Business (When a file is created)

Step 2 - File System (Create a file)

thanks

Michael

    Hi Eric

    thanks for the reply

    I have created 2 flows -

    1) When a file is created

    2) when a file is modified

I still cannot get it to create the files from the One Drive for business to my File System. I have 3 files, they always will have the same name.   To test this I basically move the files out of one drive and then move back. The flow still does not pick them up.

    regards

    Michael

    Hi @mecr123 ,

Just did a few tests and it appears when you upload a new file with a new filename, you get the choice to replace or keep both.  When you replace, it simply overwrites and PA treats as as a modified file.

The workaround would be to save a copy of your flow and change the trigger to cater for modifications as well.  In essence, two flows.

There's an idea here if you want to upvote.
