Unneeded Horizontal Scroll Bar/Screen Width Bug

A horizontal scroll bar keeps being added and hiding content when trying to have responsive screen size values. Is there a way to keep the app responsive but to shrink the app width to fit with the window size instead of adding an unnecessary (and really ugly) horizontal scroll bar?

 

It only appears in the app and not in the development preview.
