Creating PDF files from HTML without using OneDrive

Hello all,

A while ago I worked on a flow to create PDF documents from an HTML script. I created it based on the available help - which involved using OneDrive for Business (in my case) to store the HTML file created, and then to store the PDF file created before uploading it to a dataverse record. That all worked for me.

Unfortunately some of my external users (i.e. not working for the same company) don't have OneDrive for Business, so as soon as I added this flow to my PowerApp they could no longer access it as it needed licences that they don't have.

My question is  - can I use Power Automate to create a PDF file, and save it back to Dataverse without the steps using OneDrive?

thanks

Martin

Thanks for your reply. As the storage location is only a "holding place", I guess it doesn't matter if it's Sharepoint instead of OneDrive. That should work. I'll update this post with how it goes.

Unfortunately the Create file and Convert file to PDF actions both require either OneDrive or SharePoint.  You could try converting your flow to SharePoint and giving the external users access to the SharePoint document library you use.  The only other option would require purchase of a 3rd party connector, which would also raise a licensing issue.
