PowerApps Common Data Service premium connector pricing for users

If I would like to use the Common Data Service (CDS) as the data source for my App, how is the premium connector charged? I was developing an App on my own private environment and my colleague mentioned that he needed to sign up for a trial to use the app due to premium content. Is this just an issue because the app in question resides on my own private environment? My corporate environment currently includes a PowerApps plan which many have made use of although they utilize SharePoint as the data source.

I was not able to find out more details about this on the pricing FAQ. Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

     

    The private environment you said is  a free development environment for individual use to learn with full functionality of Power Apps, but not for production.

    If you want to use CDS, etc. Premium connector in other environment, PowerApps standalone license is required.  Reference: Power Apps and Power Automate Standalone plans 

    PowerApps standalone license Includes:

    • PowerApps per user plan  - $10per user/app/month
    • PowerApps per app plan  -  $40per user/month
