Where are the interactions data with the Portal stored?

Hello,

I would like to know in which entities the data from the interactions with the portal are stored?

Like, when a Portal user clicks on "confirm Email", in which entity this interaction is capture?

When a Portal user requests a password reset, how is it captured?

I've tried and looked through the different entities but failed to find those entities that capture those type of interactions with the portal.

Also, is there an entity that capture all logins (day, time, IP address...) to the portal and interactions with pages?

Thanks

    HI @Geradav ,

Do you want to know where are these interactions with the portal stored?

Currently, within PowerApps Portal, there is no CDS Entities supported to store the "confirm Email" request, "reset password" request and all logins.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

Actually, the "confirm Email" request, "reset password" request, ... are achieved in Portal using underlying JavaScripts code rather than store these requests into a Entity.

    Best regards,

@v-xida-msft , Thanks for your message.

This is actually quite surprising and gives the impression of an unfinished development. I was expecting to capture the action in the CDS and handle the process with Power Automate.

    I'll surely submit the idea.

    Thanks

"Email Confirmed" is an attribute on Contact record. If you use the 'Portal Contact' form then you can see this field in the 'Web Authentication' tab.

Thanks @sandeepd  for your message and input

I am aware of the checkbox you mention in the admin portal.

I am referring to the "Confirm Email" button on the user profile page. See the screenshot attached.

Currently, it redirects to the /ConfirmEmailRequest page where one can't take any action. Refer to the second screenshot.

And the message keeps showing to confirm email.

I would have expected an email to be sent to the user to confirm ownership.

    Hi @Geradav,

Currently, there is no out of the box possibility to track users logins and actions. However, you can set tracking scripts to monitor user access and action. You can check out my blog post regarding setting up portal tracking with Azure Application Insights - https://www.dancingwithcrm.com/powerappsportals-tracking-using-azure-app-insights/ to learn more. In a similar fashion, you can use Google Analytics if you prefer to.

    Hello,

I actually discovered that the Activity entity capture those requests for "password reset" and "email confirmation" from the portal.

So, I'll be able to use that entity to create a flow when a record is created.

    Regards

    David
