Adding agent to Power Pages

Hi All,

Would love if someone can help me with this issue.
I am trying to extend the agent in my powerpage and I believe I am not doing something properly.
I can see the image below and its enable, it created an agent in the copilot studio side but when I edit, it crashes in the powerpage and doesnt go anywhere?
Is there a better way to just import an agent (already build in copilot studio) into the power pages?

Error below is when asking anything to the bot in powerpage

Any help will be much appreciated

Hi, I ran into the same issue a few days ago. Instead of using the default "Enable Copilot" option in Power Pages (as shown in your last screenshot), I successfully integrated the agent by directly embedding it from Copilot Studio. Here's how you can do it:

Steps to Embed Copilot from Copilot Studio into Power Pages:
    • Go to copilotstudio.microsoft.com.
    • Open the Copilot you’ve already created.
    • From the top navigation, select "Channels".
    • Under Other channels, click on "Web app".
    • Copy the iframe embed code provided.
    • In Power Pages:
      • Open your site in the Power Pages Design Studio.
      • Add a new HTML section (or edit an existing one).
      • Paste the embed code into the HTML editor.
Before publishing, make sure to review the authentication settings of your Copilot. If your Copilot uses secure actions (e.g., Dataverse access, Power Automate, etc.), ensure these are either supported in the anonymous/public web context or adjusted accordingly.

    🔧 Additional Notes:
    • This method avoids issues related to unsupported action types in Power Pages.
    • If your Copilot uses features like Power Automate flows, custom plugins, or authentication-required steps, those may not function correctly in the embedded web version unless specifically configured.
I’ve tested this approach, and it works well. If you still encounter any issues or errors, feel free to tag me — I’d be happy to help further.
