PAD Why are some captured UI Elements not available from the drop-down list?

Using Power Automate Desktop:
 
I keep having to recapture UI elements already listed in the pane 'UI elements' pane on the right of the PAD application, because they are not available / don't appear in the drop-down list in the action settings. 
 
Why is that? 
 
In this example, these were captured from a web page, but don't appear at all in the drop-down.  The icons next Grades Web Page are different - but what is that supposed to mean?

    PAD Why are some captured UI Elements not available from the drop-down list?
    1. why does the original capture mis-recognise / mis-categorise the captured UI element as belonging to a window and not the browser
    "Add UI element" will always capture just UI elements I think. It thinks its an UI element you are capturing.
    So if you are automating a browser then use the browser actions and capture the elements with those. If you use the Add UI element button in the UI elements pane then it will capture them as UI elements not as browser.
     
    2. How do I fix it?

    Re capture the elements with browser actions.

    PAD Why are some captured UI Elements not available from the drop-down list?
    That's because they are different types of elements. You are trying to use browser automation actions to reuse UI automation actions. 


    If it has the internet icon in the window element then its for Browser automation actions. If it has the rectangle UI icon then its for UI automation actions.


    If you are automating for browser then you need to capture browser elements with the Browser automation actions. You cant reuse the UI automation elements
