Adding related records

Hello,
when I add an additional tab with subgrid in a main form, the Editor Shows my link to add exisiting or new sub record:

When using this form on page, there are both missing. Why?

And why records are not linked in this subgrid for more details?

Ty,
AndKan

    and here in page:

No link, no "add" or "new"
I checked permissions, but pehaps the Right Control is somewhere else then in Entity form.

    Greetings,
    AndKan

    Hi

I am not sure you are using the Portal Studio or Portal Management App, I will guide you to fix your issues with Portal Management App (check this video to understand the differences: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKdZHTP4C-U)

    • navigate to make.powerapps.com --> apps --> Portal Management
    • navigate to Entity Form and make sure you have an Entity Form with Insert mode for your entity
    • now go to your Entity List and go to the Options tab
    • there is a section with the Grid Configuration.. there you can define a Create action, and point that to your Insert Entity Form
    • that way it would appear in a pop-up/modal, if you want to appear in a full page you need to:
      • create a web page, and associate the Insert Entity Form
      • back in your entity list change the Create action from Entity Form to redirect to Web Page, and then link to your web page

    hope this helps

    Hi Oliver,

Hi, I see.. if you have it as a subgrid please follow these steps then:

    • open your Entity Form - the one with the subgrid
    • Navigate to Entity Form Metadata and create a new record
    • select Subgrid as your metadata type, and you will see the same options as we have in the Entity List
    • select Create as a subgrid action and point to your create/insert Entity Form
