How to increase power bi tile size once embedded on portal

I have a power bi report which I have embedded through liquid code on a portal screen.

The report does not take up most of the screen space and leaves empty space.

I tried to do the same by using a power bi Tile and the results are same.

How can I make the report use most of the space on the page so that the report appears to be full screen?

    Hi @sss333 ,

Check out my blog post, where I am explaining how to customize PowerBI in Portals. In the beginning, I explain how to change the height and width of the element via CSS.

    Hi @OOlashyn

I am unable to find the css file to be edited.Could you please guide from where I can edit the Preform.bundle css file?

Also, I am using Default Studio Template for the web page and don't see an option to edit the settings mentioned over the blog post.

Also just noticed, changing the width of the .powerbi to 150% does not make the report go full screen keeping the length standard. It in turn brings a horizontal scrollbar while keeping the blank space on both the sides.

@sss333 you don't need to change css file or web template. You can add CSS to the page in Portal Management app. Open web page -> Localized Content -> open localized version of the page that you need -> Advanced -> Custom CSS. There you can add the necessary CSS.

@OOlashyn I just tried that but the power bi never takes up the whole portal page according to the page height and width. If I increase the height then the report gets taller and if I increase the width, then the element where power bi file is embedded is increasing and the power bi canvas itself never expands. Increasing the width, increase the white space on both the sides along with horizontal scrolling.

There might be some limitations with powerbi report itself. You can try to inspect the page and the report and play with styling to see if you can increase beyond the width of the iframe container.
