Change a mandatory field (parentcustomerid) to optional as soon as checkbox gets checked

Hi,

we have a requirement to set the mandatory field parentcustomerid (lookup) to optional as soon as the field xxx_noorgfound is checked.

I know there is a possibility with some kind of validator, however I did not manage to make it work, since I was not sure where to insert my field values.

Thanks in advance for the effort.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to make the required field optional when the checkbox gets checked?

Could you please tell me more about your scenario?

Go to the Required property of the data card corresponding to parentcustomerid, and set as below:

    If(Checkbox1.Valule,false,true)

Check if this could help you.

    Hi @v-qiaqi-msft ,

yes exactly. We have an registration form (contact form) where the user can search his ORG via the mandatory Account lookup (parentcustomerid). If the user does not find his ORG he can check the checkbox beneath the lookup "I dont find my org".  Thus we want to make the Account Lookup (parentcustomerid) optional as soon as the user clicks on the checkbox.
