Hi

I am new to portals. I have a multi-step form. I have a requirement where I have to show only two values on the lookup when certain conditions are true.

I have put the logic to calculate conditions in a JSON Web template and that is working fine. I have added script on the step.

How do I show only those two records in the lookup now?

Hi @Amaira ,
when there are not many choices in the lookup, i would recommend to render the lookup as a drop-down list (this can be set in the metadata of the form). This creates a better user-experience and TaDa - you can set some of the lookupvalues in the options of the rendered choice to display none or delete the from the DOM. So, the user will not see them anymore 🙂
Hopefully this points in the right direction,

PS another (more clumsy way) is to enable the selection of views in the lookupcontrol and switch the view based on you javascript. This is not well documented and requires some strange dom modifications 🙂
