Custom domain and SSL certificate issue

We have a custom domain setup for our power pages portal and have uploaded the SSL certificate for the site. We have been live for a year and our certificate was due to expire on 18 June 2025.

The admin center gave me the following alert for my power pages. Here it says the certificate is already expired with a date of Aug 20, 2024. No idea where this date was picked up.

We anyways renewed our certificate and uploaded the new certificate from the admin center. The new certificate expiry is 21 May 2026. We update this config last week.

But when we open the site, we get a completely different certificate and not the one we deployed -

Also, we still continue to have the alert for the expired certificate. The site seems to be working fine but no idea what is happening with the certificates.

    Hi @psreek,

could you check if your thumbprint in the authentication key points to the correct cert?
And even if it sounds strange, but could you delete the "older" cert and check it again?

Somehow there are a lot of reports right now with cert issues...

Most likely u have CDN or waf enabled, when thats the case the actual front-end certificate is autogenerated by power pages service and has digicert as authority. Look at the doc here and see the note mentioned in the doc https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/configure/configure-cdn#enable-content-delivery-network-for-a-production-website

So, looks like MS fixed an internal bug and now the alert on the admin center is gone. Earlier it was showing an alert for an expired certificate from 2024.

If the issue is solved now, could you close the ticket?
