Attached file in note timeline cannot be deleted

I have the timeline linked to a custom table to allow users to upload files. The issue I am facing is that if User A uploads a file, User B (who is authorized) cannot delete it. Each user can delete the files they uploaded individually. Is there something I am missing? I would like for all users who have access to that table and its attachments to be able to delete an attachment regardless of who uploaded it into the note timeline.

Have you reviewed the table permissions to make sure users have the appropriate permissions?

    Hi,

It seems like you are facing this issue because of the power pages security settings. Please follow the below steps to configure it.

    Configure Power Pages Security Settings

For users to interact with records (including deleting attachments), you need to ensure that table-level security and page permissions are correctly set up in Power Pages.
    • Ensure that the Power Pages roles tied to authenticated users or any specific roles that are part of your site (e.g., "Authenticated Users", "Administrators", etc.) are linked with the correct permissions to interact with the custom table, including deleting attachments.

Configure the Table Permissions in Power Pages

Ensure that the custom table and associated attachment (note) records are set up correctly in the Dataverse table permissions for Power Pages.
    1. Go to Power Pages Studio and select the custom table you're using for attachments.
    2. Verify that the Create, Read, and Delete permissions are set for the correct roles that need to delete attachments (e.g., authenticated users).
      • This should be done under the Permissions tab for the custom table in the Power Pages settings.
    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
