Portals AD access issues

Hi everyone!!

We have developed a corporate Portals application and we are having access problems with some users that are in our Microsoft Azure AD (there is no problem with our AD...).

The only users that can access without problems are the developers and myself.

It has not been necessary to do anything special with my user to grant me access to the Portal, but with my co-workers, we are not able to give them access permissions. They have all the privileges in the administration section of the Portal, from System Administrator to Basic user.

I don't know if it is mandatory to perform any action in Dynamics 365 to give them access to the system.
Please, any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in advance

    Hi @ragavanrajan

    Thanks for your quick response.

This is the point. They have to access the application only through this button, but the system response is:

(Sorry it's in spanish, but I think it's very clear...)

The second suggestion that you give, I think is the problem...

I thought that without the proper license you could access to the Portal but no to the canvas app that it's inside. I'm guessing I'm wrong.
Anyway we're are waiting the licenses for this users, may be with that the issue will fix.
I'm going to keep this thread opened until the licenses are available and if the issue is solved, I'll accept the your post.

    Thank very much

    Hi @cescari

The simple way is to ask your user to sign in to the portal using the Azure AD button. Don't create contact using your employees work id(email address). Once they sign in contact will be automatically created.

Also, most important, did you purchase the portal license and assign it to your environment. If it is external you also need to procure add-ons for page view.

New: you can also subscribe to pay as you go modal for your internal employees.

    Hope it helps.
