Hi Folks,

I had a Query regarding creating new customer self service portal in my production environment.

My Production already has an old Microsoft CRM Customer Self Service portal which is live. My Requirement is to create a new power apps customer self service portal in the same environment. Can this be achieved ??

I Know we cannot have 2 Same Power Apps Portals with same languages in the same environment. But Can we create a new Power apps customer self service portal if the environment already has an old Microsoft CRM Customer Self Service portal.

The answer is

If you select an environment that contains customer engagement apps (Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Dynamics 365 Field Service, Dynamics 365 Marketing, or Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation), you can create the following portals:

1. Customer self-service portal

2. Partner portal

3. Employee portal etc..

Workaround:

You can create your dataverse starter portal as a blank and install necessary packages to build your customer service portal. This will be difficult as you need to setup everything manually

Hi @ragavanrajan I do understand that but my question is
I already have an old Microsoft CRM Customer Self Service Portal.(I don't wish to update it or delete it ). in the same environment I want to create another Customer Self Service Portal (Which will now be power apps portal ). is this possible.

Hi @ViditGholam ,

There can be only one portal of each type and for a language created in an environment. I have given you a workaround if you want another customer self-service portal in the same environment.
