powerbi: a configuration error occured while rendering your report

Hello Everyone,

Up until recently (sometime over the Christmas holidays) we had a Power Apps Portal with a Power BI component that was displaying reports with access type "Embed for your customers" with no issues at all.

Now when trying to view the page a user will see "Liquid syntax error: A configuration error occurred while rendering your report."

and if I go to look at the configuration everything looks like it is working (can see the workspace, type, etc) but there is an error "powerbi: a configuration error occurred while rendering your report"

Has anyone else seen this issue/resolved this issue.

As I mentioned before everything was working absolutely fine and had been for months previously.

Hello @jnovelliere , no resolution so far I have been actively trying to sort myself including setting up everything again from scratch - but to no avail.

Hello @ragavanrajan ,
Sorry I have been away recently. I have taken a look at the solution and it is not the same situation as what is happening to me.
I can see the pages in the page drop down - everything on that side of things seems to be working.

I did try the code anyway just to make sure and it made no difference.

Hello @Mattx,
Were you able to resolve this issue?

I am able to "Embed for your organization" but not "Embed for your customers".

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi @kamryncorley

Embed for your customers requires A Power BI Pro or Premium Per user (PPU) license.

Also, you may need to configure Azure AD App and Service Principal
