    Re: Web Page access issue

Different Web Roles each with different set of permissions.  But those roles are not set as Authenticated Users etc (unless one is a super set of the other).

2 out of the box web roles, one for authenticated users and another for anonymous are set by default to be inherited by any user that is logged in or not logged in respectively.  The Administrators web role is not an inherited role, it via direct assignment to your Contact records

The inherited Web Roles have checkboxes on them, to stop them inheriting all you have to do is uncheck the check boxes on them (not sure if this is exposed in the designer, but you can do it from the Portal Management App).  If you uncheck the checkboxes you then need to manually assign Web Role/s (out of the box ones or custom ones) to your contacts (or automate the assignment, or if sending portal invitations can add to the invitation).

    Re: Web Page access issue

The out of the box Authenticated User Web Role by default is set so that any logged in user will inherit its permissions (the Web Role does not show as assigned against the logged in users but they inherit its permissions) i.e. Your portal user is getting the Admin role permissions + the Authenticated Role permissions (as your admin is an authenticated user as they have logged in) .  The Anonymous one also behaves similarly but for visitors that are not logged in.

You can stop this behavior by un-ticking the respective checkbox on the Web Role (note if you un-tick it you will have to make sure that you are directly assigning Web Roles to your authenticated Portal users).

Note: I have given Web page permission for "My Property " to be Authenticated User .Please Help
