I'm attempting to set up a basic 'login' system for a data visualizer, but I don't know how to load in data from the connector inside of a formula to check against user input. I looked up the commands here Excel Online (Business) - Connectors | Microsoft Learn, but none of them have any actual examples or even explanation of how to call them or format in them the formula box.

    Accessing Excel Data in formula
    Hi @ ,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community.

Setting up a basic login system using Excel Online (Business) connectors can be a bit tricky without clear examples. Here’s a general approach to help you get started:

Set up an Excel file with a table for usernames and passwords.

Use Power Automate to create a flow:

Trigger: When a user attempts to log in  (e.g., a button click in a Power App).

Action: Retrieve data from the Excel file using the “List rows present in a table” action.

Filter Query: Check if the username and password match the user input.

Condition: If rows are returned, the login is successful; otherwise, it fails.

This approach leverages Power Automate to handle the login logic and data retrieval. If you need more details or run into issues, feel free to ask! 😊
