I am trying to create a connection with gateway in power platform custom connector. The problem is that it is allowing to create connection if I have admin role there and not with the connection creator. I can't give admin role to each end user to access the custom connector else they can add/remove user from gateway and also can change the configuration. How can i allow end user to use custom connector but restrict them to modify gateway? Additionally, i want to know the consequences if admin role has given to end user?

It depends on your connector, some connectors require Admin and will not work properly without it and you cannot get around it.
