Can we populate word document variables using Power Automate similar to how we populate the word document properties

We have a Microsoft word document .docx which have custom properties as follow:-

and we are populating these properties using Power automate as follow:-

but we are facing an issue is that the word document properties can not take more than 255 characters for each property, so we are planing to replace the word document properties with word document variables (which do not have the 255 characters limitation).. but does Power Automate support populating the word document variables similar to how we can populate the word document proprieties?

Thanks

@MarconettiMarco yes you are correct i used Document libraries instead of custom list and i have the option to allow unlimited length in document libraries, and i can save more than 255 chars .. thanks a lot

    ok @johnjohn123 ,

if you use a Doc Library, you can achieve your goal.

@MarconettiMarco i think you are using different appraoch, as in our case we did not import any properties from word to SharePoint. we created the properties separately inside word and inside sharepoint. also in our case inside the sharepoint column field setting, we do not have an option/checkbox to allow unlimited length in document libraries, here is how our column setting looks like:-

    Hello @johnjohn123 ,

    I've performed the following test:

    1. I've imported some doc properties like the "Company" field:

    2. I've changed the "Company" field type in "Multiple line of text" and checked the "Allow unlimited length in document libraries" boolean field:

    3. In Power Automate, just for test, I've added a "Compose" action putting more than 255 characters:

    4. Then, added the "Update file properties" action putting the Compose output in the required field:

    It's working:

The property is correctly updated containing all the characters.
