Using Web File Notes for users to download document files

Hi All, On my PowerPages website I need to provide a hardcopy "ApplicationForm.docx" file for users to download.

I have found that I can use 'Web Files' within Portal Management, and then Notes to store the "ApplicationForm.docx" file however when I do so I receive a message "This file format is not supported. You can try with one of the supported formats: PNG, JPEG, GIF"

How can I add to this supported formats list so it accepts my .docx file?  Thanks

    Hi @PurdyeS

I have tested this on two sites. I can upload .docx or .doc format.

    Try this

    In Portal management:

    1.  Click Settings > Advanced settings

    2. Settings > Administration  > System Settings

    3.  Under General tab> Set blocked file extensions for attachments

    4. Make sure there is no ".docx or .doc"

    5. Hit Ok and refresh the portal

    Hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply.  I looked and don't have .docx or .doc as blocked attachments. Not sure whats going on, even in the Model Driven App it doesnt allow.

Resolved this.  Dragging and dropping a file from my desktop to Notes resulted in"This file format is not supported. You can try with one of the supported formats: PNG, JPEG, GIF"

However clicking on the paperclip within Notes and attaching via that method worked fine
