Question about Web Roles

I am new to Power Page and I need to maintain the Power Page built by ex-developer.

I checked there are 2 Web Role group 'Authenticated User - Site A' and 'Authenticated User - Site B'. I cannot find a way to check the member of these 2 roles.
In Power Page Management Portal > Web Roles, I can find these 2 web roles. But by clicking on it, the "Related" tab shows "No Data Available".

In Power Page studio, I find site A's home page have setup permission to allow 'Authenticated User - Site A' access only. In Site B's home page, it is setup to allow 'Authenticated User - Site B' access only.

However, in my test, all the users can sign-in to both site A and site B.

How should I troubleshoot this problem?

In Power Pages, Web Roles are assigned to Contacts.
There is no “member list” view on the Web Role record.

To see who has a Web Role:

    1. Open Power Pages Management app
    2. Go to Contacts from left navigation.
    3. Open a Contact form:
      Contact·
    4. Check the Web Roles subgrid to see any contact assigned roles

That subgrid shows which Web Roles the user belongs to.

Why the Web Role record shows “No Data Available”:

    • This is expected
    • Members are viewed from the Contact side, not the Web Role side

Why users can access both Site A & Site B:

    • Same Contact has both Web Roles
    • Or Authenticated Users / admin access is used on pages or tables

    Quick test:

    • Create a new Contact
    • Assign only Authenticated User – Site A
    • Try accessing Site B → it should be blocked

The out of the box Authenticated Users and Anonymous Users by default are set to be inherited and do not need to be directly assigned to users (hence you may not find users assigned to them). In the definition of those Web Roles there is a checkbox that if checked indicates that it will be inherited (you can uncheck the checkbox to turn off the inheritance using the Power Pages Management app).

Note: for each site there should only ever be one of the respective checkboxes checked (i.e. 2 Web Roles should not have the Authenticated checkbox checked) as the system will only inherit from the first one it finds.

Thank you. It is exactly my problem -- ' Yes for Authenticated Users Role'

I change to No and solved.
