Basic form lookup fields do not load

I am trying to add metadata for a basic form on my power pages web site.

When I go to the basic form /<formname>/ General tab the lookup columns do not load

when I go to the metadata tab and select a field there are no lookup fields present.

Has anyone seen this and know how to correct this problem?

Basic form lookup fields do not load

I made a ticket with Microsoft.

I had started Portal management from the apps page in Power Apps. It starts in "New Look" mode. Turning off new look mode didnt help. the Entity Form Metadata does not work correctly.

MS had me start Portal managment from

and then turn off the new look mode. Now the Entity Form Metadata works correctly.

The same app opened from 2 diff places behaving differently? yes, it is a MS product.

NOTE: MS will keep turning the new look mode on whenever they can. However, the Entity Form Metadata still works.

for all my complaining, the MS helpdesk did respond quickly with a great work around.

Basic form lookup fields do not load

On the Metadata record, try changing the Type dropdown to another value and then change it back to attribute - there is a bug at the moment where you sometimes need to toggle the dropdown for it to load correctly.
