Update status using Button

Hi,

I'm new to power apps and I'm designing a Data request form and a flow based on a Sharepoint list.

I need to update the status (Choice Column) by clicking the Update button. Status choices (Open, Closed, In Progress, Awaiting Information)

after clicking on the Update Button the Pop will appear as shown in img_2 where we can select the status and add the comments according to the status that he/she selects and the date is mandatory for few options in status(In Progress, Awaiting Information)

Could someone help me with how to achieve the above requirement Thanks in Advance

As an example, you have not provided any code (which I would have asked for) so that it can be corrected where appropriate.

Could you tell me:
Will the dropdown control be displayed when the "update" button is pressed?
What’s Items property of dropdown control?
What’s Comment section? Is it a control?
What’s data type of Status column? Is it a choice column? What are the options in it?
When do you update the value of the Status column? Is the column updated after the drop-down control is selected?

I’m sorry that I am confused about your needs. Could you provide more information?
