How to retrieve template images and css files deleted by mistake in PowerApps Portal

Hello Community,

 

By my mistake, I deleted files of template css, bootstraps, and files for PowerApps Portal in Common Data Services Annotation Entity.

Now the interface of my portal looks broken completely due to the lost files (especially CSS...).

I wanted to edit the template CSS files to customize interface.

Does anyone know how to retrieve deleted data in CDS?

    Hi, you have a few options

     

    #1 setup a trial environment and copy the default record from there

    #2 you can also restart your portal with the default configuration but you would lose all your customization.. to avoid this you can perform the following:

    • perform a backup of your configuration using XrmToolBox (Portal Records Mover) or Configuration Migration
    • via Admin Center, restart your portal configuration 
    • again using XrmToolBox or Configuration restore your Portal Configuration
