Disabling Autofill (Saved Personal Info) in Text and Drop-Down Fields in Power Apps for Windows

When using Power Apps for Windows (Version 3.24064), form fields (specifically drop downs and text boxes) suggest autofill information from "Saved personal info."

In Microsoft Edge, I've changed the following settings to no avail:

  1. In Settings --> Privacy, search, and services --> Delete browsing history --> Clear browsing data now, I've cleared passwords, Autofill form data, and All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge.
  2. In Settings --> Privacy, search, and services --> Clear browsing data for Internet Explorer --> Clear browsing data now, I've deleted form data and passwords.
  3. In Microsoft Wallet --> Settings --> Personal Info, I've turned off "Save and fill basic info."

Unfortunately, none of these changes have disabled autofill in Power Apps for Windows.

Does anyone know what's causing this and how it can be turned off permanently?

Example of the Saved Person Info (autofill) box when clicking in a drop-down field:

    Hi,

I encounter the same issue in MS-Teams environment. Hope there is a resolution. Thanks.

I've no solution unfortunately, just hopping on to say that I'm struggling with the same issue.
I'm running the same app on two identical tablets running Windows 10. One is saving and autofilling data, and the other isn't - there's no difference in settings that I can find. It's very frustrating!

The Settings > Search for Wallet > Wallet > Personal info > Switching off 'Save and fill basic info' worked in my case.

    Hi,

Since this issue is specific to Power Apps for Windows, try modifying the input controls to prevent browser autofill:

    1. For Text Inputs

      • Set the DisplayMode property to DisplayMode.Edit explicitly.
      • Use InputMode property: InputMode = TextMode
      • Add AutoComplete = false in the Advanced properties of the control.

    1. For Dropdowns

      • If using a ComboBox, set IsSearchable = false to prevent stored entries from appearing.
    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
