Teams team ('class' template) not generating 'when a new member is added' events

Hi,

I have a flow whose trigger responds to 'when a new team member is added' events on a Teams team which was created using the 'class' template. However, the expected trigger event is not getting generated; the flow polls but each run is listed as 'skipped'.

If I point the trigger at a team created using the 'staff' template then the trigger does detect the event, and processes as expected. This seems to suggest a cause relating to the 'class' template.

I see in the following that the 'class' template has a 'team membership' property set to 'HiddenMembership':

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/get-started-with-teams-templates

Could this property be withholding the 'when a new user is added' event from being published?

Many thanks,
