Plan Designer - Getting Things Ready....for hours

I am on section 4. Configure a model driven app on the Plan Designer track.

I followed the step to create the model-driven app from the technologies section of my plan, and now "Getting Things Ready" has been getting ready for a couple of hours.

I've searched the web - done the all the steps (clear cache, reset, etc. etc)

What is the workaround for this?  Is this standard that creating apps from the Plan Designer may take this amount of time?  This is the second day that the Things that were supposed to be Getting Ready were never produced.
Should I  create a model driven app and then add the tables after? Instead of creating the App from the Plan Designer?

Additionally, would anyone like to link up and create a group for the new Power Apps course?  All of the help topics available do not point to the lessons I have been doing since December 2025.

Thanks!
Gigi

I appreciate this is frustrating, as it's the second day that you've experienced the "Getting Things Ready" issue.

I'd give it another day and try again. I find there are moments when Plan Designer gets stuck like this, but it eventually resolves itself.

Thank you! I'll give it another go tonight.

    Hey @timl Tim

How do I keep the Plan from Plan Designer if I choose to build the Model Driven App and forego generating it from the plan?
I'm on hour 2 of getting things ready.... I'm ready to do it myself

    Thanks

    Just an update...
I let plan designer run overnight and woke up to a model driven app created from the technologies section of the plan.

While I waited, I tried a manual method and created a model driven app and replaced the app within Plan Designer.  This approach appeared to work until I begin the generative page creation.  It did not update and I've followed the video steps closely.

So, I guess the trick is let things "Get Ready" overnight if the computer is not needed.
