Powerapp Form Overwrite & Latest details update option

Hi,

I have created a Powerapp form, where based on Employee ID most of the fields get autofilled and some of the fields HR should manually enter. Those fields once enter and submit, it get saves in Sharepoint Site.

Now I have a issue here.. once this data get saved, again its not allowing to enter or when I enter its creating duplicate entries.

So how to make overwrite option in powerapp form. where when ever people enter details for based on employee ID latest should get saved in Sharepoint Site. It should get overwrite.

Please help me on this..

Thanks for the respond...

Its a custom Form..

Where I need to create a New & Edit on single button to create or do changes on the existing list and it should overwrite when we made changes on the existing list.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Is this form control inside a standalone app or is it a custom form created from SharePoint list?

To define the form mode, we use EditForm, NewForm, SubmitForm, ResetForm, and ViewForm functions in PowerApps.

To define what item to be displayed inside the Form, we set formula in Item property of the form control.
