Reduce storage Capacity for Power Apps

Hi Experts,

I found that there is a sudden change in my storage Capacity without making any changes to the environment. The WebResourceBase shows an increase in storage. I am not able to figure out what could be the reason for the sudden increase. Could anyone please suggest how to reduce the storage for WebResourceBase? I also run system jobs to clean up the storage capacity and delete the completed system jobs. I have referred to the following documentation,

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/free-storage-space

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you want to know why your storage Capacity changes automatically?

Since our product team is  constantly optimizing the Common Data Service for ease of use, performance, and efficiency, so CDS itself is changing all the time.

Then the usage of database capacity keeps decreasing and file capacity keeps increasing.

A fluctuation in database storage can be represented by an increased or decreased number of indexes on the database. Common Data Service is continually being tuned to increase efficiency and incorporate new technologies that improve user experience and optimize storage capacity.

Here's a doc about this in details for your reference:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/capacity-storage

For now the solutions about how to free up storage space are all in this doc:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/free-storage-space

If this still could not solve your problem, I suggest you buy more capacity to be compliant with storage usage.

    Best regards,
