Hi,

I have created a Dataverse table view which has a lookup column for Contact table.

I am using this view in one of my pages in my Power pages site.

I have been trying to filter this view by logged in user yet not found the solution.

Could anyone help me on this?

To filter a view in Dataverse based on the logged-in user on the portal, follow these steps:
    1. Go to the view in Dataverse.
    2. Click on “Edit Filter”.
    3. Select the lookup column.
    4. Filter by any contact ID or name as shown below.
This setup will automatically filter the results based on the logged-in user on the portal, regardless of the specific condition entered.

    • Include a Contact lookup in the view definition set to any contact (as per aofosu's post)
    • If for the whole List (and not just a specific view) there is a setting on the List configuration (use the Portal/Power Pages Management App) see Portal User Attribute https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/configure/list-attributes-relationships
    • Limit access by using  appropriately scoped/configured Table Permissions e.g. if the user should only ever see their own records then limiting access via table permissions is the most secure option.

    Hi,

Based on our understanding, you are trying to display a list based on the logged-in user. you can achieve this by setting the table permission to the contact level.

Please follow the steps given in the screenshot below.
