Clarification on Authenticated vs. Anonymous Users in PowerApps

Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie to PowerApps and need some help understanding the difference between authenticated and anonymous users. I've noticed that on some community pages, I can read the content without logging in but also have the option to log in.

Here's what I think I understand so far:

If I log in and search the web, I am counted as an authenticated user.
However, because I only subscribe to authenticated users for PowerPage. If I browse the web without logging in, I am counted as a pay-as-you-go anonymous user or it will not be calculated at all ?

Can someone please help clarify this for me? Any insights or resources would be greatly appreciated!

If a user is logged in they are Authenticated.

If someone is not logged in they are Anonymous.

Not 100% what the current rules are, but it used to be that the only page that didn't count as an anonymous visit by someone not logged in was the login/register page. And, so if you were only doing authenticated, you would create Web Page Access Control Rules set to Restrict Read for all the public facing pages (including the home page), and add them to your Authenticated Users Web Role, and then when someone not logged in tried to visit any page it would redirect them to the login page..

Thank you kind man. I guess we do just that to only authenticated users only just to be sure
