Hi all,
Would seem I have locked down access to Dataverse (whether due to license or company policy) as was looking to create a table to trial functionality over share point list that I have set up.
Came across an option to create an example from a template at some point (done just before Christmas), which may or may not have been under the table section (can no longer find it), but in essence 20 or so tables were created (accounts, teams, emails, contact, currency, attachment and various others) along with a handful of solutions.
To me it looks like a bug as the example didn't load properly and had errors at the time (some tables couldn't be created)
Can edit tables but can't delete them, neither can I add or delete columns when in the edit menu, so how can I get rid of them? Can delete solutions but not sure if I can or should, but didnt recall any being there beforehand. Same with "choices" didnt recall there being any but now I have loads in there too.
Please advise.
Hello @Lukus123,
As per Out-Of-the-Box behavior, if we create Database in Dataverse environment weather it can be Trail/Prod, whatever.. the system will auto generate Some of the Entities like (Account/Email/Task etc). You cannot delete the one which was created by System.
For Creating New Table you need to have Proper SECURITY ROLES in Dataverse environment.
Please find my below videos of Creating Publisher/Creating Tables Etc.
