Different opening settings of attachment (between default SharePoint form and with PowerApp

Hello all,

I hope that someone here can help me with my problem.
I have created a list in SharePoint. This also contains a column for a possible attachment. If I use the function "Use the default SharePoint form" and add the attachment, then when I click on the attachment, a new tab opens in the browser and the attached Excel file is displayed.
But if I use the PowerApp for this, then I can also add an attachment but if I want to open it, then the file is downloaded directly and is not opened in a new tab as in the first example.

I need this functionality because in the new tab the Excel can still be edited and it is directly saved again. So there is no need to upload the modified Excel again.

I am very grateful for any ideas and help.

    Hi @drilon ,

Below is a workaround for your reference, and I think it is the most useful and achievable method for now:
