Vertical Menu/Page Selection in Portals

I want to make the header/page selection tabs of my portal page look like the following picture:

A vertical menu (icons not immediately necessary) that a user can utilize to navigate from page to page just as they would normally do with the page selection in the header of a normal page. Is there any way of doing this?

    Hi @ragavanrajan

Thank you for the article! This will definitely be useful in the future. Right now I am more concerned about making the header/page selection menu vertical and on the side of the page, similar to the orientation of the picture I posted. Would you know how to achieve that?

Glad to hear it will be useful @Zap174. Sure the trick is you need to modify the header web template.

    Have a look the article

Thank you @ragavanrajan, this link is very helpful. I got the vertical menu working but it definitely needs some styling. Would you have any insight as to where and how to style the menu? (Spacing between pages, font, text size)

    Hey @Zap174

You can style your header navbar by uploading the custom.css in Portal studio. Probably worth looking at my below article. It is not directly relevant to your request. But the section 2 will help you to style your components.

If you need any further help please raise a new thread as it will be useful to others.

    Hope it helps.
