I added mappings to a Related table. When I create a record using the CREATE RELATED RECORD within the portal, the mappings do not work. When I do it within CRM, they do.
Correct. The only place Relationship Mapping works is client side in a Model Driven App (there are technically a couple of out of the box ones that work server side e.g. converting Opportunity to Quote - but most OOTB and all custom ones are client side only).
Ok thanks for clarifying....I thought since it was a mapping at the table level it wouldn't matter.....wishful thinking.
