DataVerse tables permissions reverted back to a previous setting from pipeline deletion

Hi, I am running power platform pipelines. The permissions for all the customized tables, environmental variable tables were reverted back to permissions of the previous environment when a pipeline was run. We changed the permissions in DEV environment and that seemed to resolve the issue. Then after some time, a pipeline was deleted and the permissions reverted back again. I just wanted to be sure that was the cause. Does anybody have any information on pipeline and dataverse table permissions with a security role?
