Hi I am new to this and following the course instructions.

When I add Agent in Copilot Studio - I don't get conversational creation window as shown in the training but get the screen as below. What am I missing?

If you are looking for build agents from description these are options available in the Microsoft Co-Pilot Studio.

Hi @CU20051106-0,

The training materials are likely slightly out of date. Microsoft updated the Copilot Studio UI and the conversational creation flow has changed. The screen you're seeing is the current one.

To create an agent with the conversational/description-based approach, click "Describe to create" or look for the option that says "Describe your agent" on the creation screen. If you see a form-based creation page instead, that's the new default and it works just as well.

You can still describe what your agent should do in the description field and Copilot Studio will configure the basics for you. The end result is the same regardless of which creation path you use.

If it's the video on building a Declarative Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot, the video is out of date. The UI for this changed since the video was made.

However, the instructions for this lesson below are up to date and correspond with the behaviour that you're seeing.

The steps shown here are when clicking Add, it takes you to the screen you're seeing rather than the conversational screen.

Note that if you do want to build the M365 agent using the conversational route, you can do that directly in M365 through the following link.
