Autotag with list

Posted on by 4
Hello, its seem my flow are too much complicated and use a lot of ressources. So i think its possible to make a liste on Sharepoint with 2 column, one with keyword and other one with category.

In powerautomate the Trigger whas ''When a file is created or modified (properties only) and after that i want to 'Get items' on list created in Sharepoint. By example, if in the name of the files, i have the 'Keyword' ABB, it check on the ''Keyword'' column of the List. And on ABB row, the category is ''Drive''. When the automation found it, its update the equipment column in Sharepoint with the tag ''Drive''.

Dont know if its clear..

Thank you in advance

I try my best to be clear.

By exemple i drop a file in Sharepoint with the name ''Elect. Drawings''.

The trigger on PowerAutomate is '' When a file is created or modified(Properties only)''. When the trigger is start, it check on excel list, who have two column, the first is Keyword and the second is Category.

For this example, the keyword is Elect. is on the Excel List, on the same row with Elect. Keyword is the category Electricity. After that, the automation update the file on Sharepoint with the correct tag, which is ''Electricity''.

I try to make an automation, but its go on a perpetual loop. The tag change at every minute.

I reply later with a picture of the automation.

    Thanks

As the saying goes, "it is clear as mud." At least to me. It would be helpful to show your flow or at least how the relationship between your keyword column, the ABB row, and the category. Are all three of these in the same document library when a file is created? As another saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words."
