i have tried to get my gallery to display the animals that are available for fostering in my canvas app with this code but it keeps populating even those that are not available for fostering. futher tweaks just gets it to show a blank gallery

Filter(
    'Animal Data',
    ('Current Location' = LookUp('Shelters', ShelterName = dd_selection.Selected.ShelterName, 'Shelter ID value') ||
     IsBlank('Current Location')) &&
    'Shelter Status' <> "Adopted" &&
    IsBlank(LookUp('Family Foster Informations', 'Foster ID' = 'Current Location', 'Foster ID'))
)

    You should be able to rewatch them.

    Can you share some screenshots?

    Thank you @w.p for the clarity. i would love to go over my lectures again but dont know why they are no longer available in my learning plan. Any idea how i can access it or join a new cohort to restart the course?

    1-I used the terms "child" and "parent" to help you understand, but it had the opposite effect. Let's forget about this relationship.

    2-The purpose of the final challenge is to use all the knowledge you have learned over the course and apply it to this challenge.
    If you didn't understand the importing data into tables, I'd suggest revisiting the lessons.

    3-A real-world challenge would be something along the lines.
    A customer want to manage their animals. The app should track the arrival and sale of animals, monitor their health and vaccination records, and manage feeding schedules. It should also generate reports on sales trends and inventory levels to help the owner make informed business decisions.
    You need to figure out how many tables, columns, apps...

    4-I'd suggest you join the weekly live session where the instructors can walk you through.

    @w.p my major challenge is in understanding what a child and parents table is and how to create them as they were not covered during the course. any reference to an external material or video will help.

    child and parent are terms used to explain table relationships, like you can't have a child without parents the same as you cannot select initial shelter value (lookup column) without entering data in shelter table.

    Publish the changes to make them available to BI.

    Have you completed all of these steps?

    my recommend steps for the challenge:
    1-create shelter table, columns, view, and form (parent table)
    2-create foster family table, columns, view, and form (parent & child table)
    3-create animal table, columns, view, and form (child table)
    4-create a model driven app
    5-import shelter data via model-driven app using Export to Excel > Open in Excel Online > copy & paste
    6-import foster family data via model-driven app using Export to Excel > Open in Excel Online > copy & paste
    7-import animal data via model-driven app using Export to Excel > Open in Excel Online > copy & paste

    @w.p can you explain more on this child table and parents table and how they are created. cause i noticed that while importing the dataverse table into PowerBI, the initial shelter table was blank. even though i set it as a lookup column in my dataverse table while creating it?
