You’re on the right track, and you haven’t done anything wrong! This is a known limitation with the Power Up Program environments
Your understanding is spot on, the @learnwithpowerup.onmicrosoft.com accounts typically don’t have an Exchange Online mailbox provisioned.
Because there’s no mailbox behind the account, the Office 365 Outlook connector gets stuck in a sign-in loop, trying to create a connection that can’t be completed.
Since the labs are tied to your Power Up environment, switching to a personal/work account usually isn’t a good option for grading. Instead, try one of these:
Option 1: Use the Mail connector (best alternative)
Use Send an email notification (V3) from the Mail connector.
Doesn’t require a mailbox
Works well for testing your flow
Option 2: Use Teams instead
Replace the email step with:
Post message as the Flow bot to a user
or Post card in a chat/channel
Option 3: Document and move on
If the lab strictly requires Outlook, you may need to skip executing this step.
This is a known limitation, and usually the implementation matters more than the final run.
Summary
Your setup is correct
The environment simply doesn’t support Outlook connections
Use Mail or Teams to continue the lab
You’re definitely not alone , this is one of the most common blockers in this module.
