COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
At this year’s community lounge at PPCC24, we made connections, facilitated knowledge sharing, and shared excitement for the Power Platform. It demonstrated the power of community and the value of coming together to learn, share, and grow across 5 main areas:
Ask the Super Users
This kiosk proved to be one of our most popular attractions at PPCC24, where attendees had an opportunity to work with our Super Users on a wide variety of questions they had, from best practices on setting up a flow or how to resolve a tricky issue. If you loved working with a Super User or missed your opportunity, don't worry - they're all available on the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Community Forums!
Community Desk
The Community Desk was our recruitment headquarters to join the first-party Power Platform community site. In the process, we gave away over 4000 coffee mugs and hosted a lively sticker and pin exchange for seasoned community users to share, network, and interact with the new recruits. MVPs and community experts also delivered 12 amazing theater sessions throughout the week.
Jobs-to-be-Done Mapping Station
This interactive exhibit aimed to gauge customer sentiment on current Copilot capabilities, gather feedback on product issues, discover opportunities, and uncover new agentic scenarios through detailed community discussion. Interactive journey maps sprawling 28 feet long spiked the curiosity of attendees, who were eager to both contribute and learn from the approach. Check out this customer quote: “Learning how to map the business process like this is such a game changer. This was honestly the biggest takeaway for me from the whole conference!”
Networking Area
This served as a hub for both formal and informal interactions. We offered cozy couches for informal chats as well as more structured roundtable settings. Unsurprisingly, it became a popular spot for the more than 240 community-organized meetups, spanning industry discussions, product insights, and common interest groups.
The knowledge sharing expanded far beyond the community lounge into each of the 110 sessions, 20 workshops, and 42 roundtables. You delved into the many aspects of the Power Platform, met product experts, and networked with your peers across 12 ancillary events.
