Copilot in Project Operations

Dynamics 365 Project Operations serves as a comprehensive platform tailored for efficient project planning, expense tracking, and time management. It facilitates resource booking and allocation while providing tools to identify and manage project estimates, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall work quality.

In this blog, we will explore the ways Copilot in Project Operations has enhanced efficiency, empowering organizations to streamline project management, minimize risk, and make well-informed decisions.

Prerequisites:

To enable the Copilot feature in Project Operations, go to the Parameter record located in the Settings group. Click on the Feature Control button on the ribbon bar, as shown below.

With this feature, you can perform the following tasks more efficiently,

1. Task plan â€“ Click the Task plan button, as indicated below, to automatically generate tasks and sub-tasks

3Copilot-in-Project-Operations

This will automatically create tasks and sub-tasks under the Project based on the Project Name so here we have to ensure that the Project name is in the context of the Project to let AI generate related tasks. Based on the Estimate Start Date AI creates new Project tasks including Duration, Start Date, and Finish Date as shown below,
