What’s happening?
Customers encounter an error message stating "A 'ServerException' occurred on the server" when attempting to configure Git integration settings in PowerApps.
Reason:
The Git version control feature in the PowerApps editor has been deprecated, which may lead to errors when trying to set up Git integration. Additionally, there may be server-side exceptions or changes in the server environment that affect the integration process.
Resolution:
- Confirm if the connection was established using the method described in Dataverse Git Integration Settings (Preview) - Connecting Dataverse to Git
- If the Git version control feature is no longer supported, consider using the source code integration feature for version control. More information can be found in the Source Code Integration
- If this persists, check for any recent changes to the Git repository settings or permissions that may be causing the error.
